Composition

According to the provisions of the legislation, the Cyprus Public Audit Oversight Board (CyPAOB) is independent of the statutory auditors and audit firms. Its Board of Directors is appointed by the respective Council of Ministers and is composed of individuals of the highest moral standing, recognized reputation and integrity, all of which do not practice the profession but they have the knowledge on all matters related to statutory audits.
